A project focused on solving the metadata/content UX catch-22 in the AI Portal's skill submission flow. Managed by [[Giuseppe Bonanno]], with related UI work by Preet Patel.

Problem

Users currently provide metadata for a skill without a mechanism to host its content, creating a bottleneck for automated integration into the skills repository.

Planned Solution

  • Submission UX Redesign: Introduce a branching wizard. Skill submissions will route to a dedicated new page.
  • Content Wizard: Includes a scoping step (checks repo for duplicates/refinements), content creation (markdown), and an analysis step (review against skill.md spec).

Guiding Principles

  • Hybrid Accessibility: Any tool/dataset built must be accessible to both humans and agents.
  • Discovery Consolidation: Team is actively evaluating whether to consolidate discovery/submission surfaces or maintain separate AI Portal/Skills Portal UIs.
